    We built the first version for our own 51-person team — frustrated by every recognition tool we'd tried. Within a month, #shoutouts was the most-active channel in the workspace.

    Real cash, not points

    We swapped internal tokens for real money — gift cards through Amazon, PayPal, Visa, and 3,500+ other options. Participation jumped from 60% to 96% in eight weeks.

  3. 2025

    AI in your team’s voice

    Most managers told us "I would send shoutouts if I had time to write them." So we built an AI drafting layer that writes in your voice — reviewed in one tap, sent in two.

  4. 2026

    Open to everyone

    After twelve months of pilot data, SOC 2 readiness work, and a complete rewrite of the redemption stack, we opened CultureEngine to teams beyond GROW AI.
