Send a shoutout
Anyone can send one. Shoutouts post to your team's default Slack channel, so everyone sees it.

From Slack
Type /shoutout in any channel and the form opens right there. Pick Recipients (up to 10), write a Message, and click Send Shoutout. Coins per recipient and (Company) Values are optional. The Coins come out of your own weekly allowance, and you can tag up to 3 values.
Or from the dashboard
Open the Shoutouts Feed and click Write shoutout. Same fields. Here the message shows a live count, up to 2,000 characters.
Or join one already posted
Every public shoutout has two buttons under it. Write a Shoutout opens a fresh form. Add Coins is the quicker one: it adds Coins to that same shoutout. Tick Also send to the channel if you want people to see it.
Good to know
Coins are per recipient, not split. Ten Coins to three people costs thirty. Those buttons only show under public shoutouts. A private one is a DM, so there is nothing in the channel to join.A message can be up to 2,000 characters. Say what they did and why it mattered.
